5-Stand

5 Stand

5-Stand is another of the shotgun disciplines that combines the target presentations of skeet with those of trap and sporting clays in a confined field. At Bradford, we have approximately 16 traps on our field utilized at any one time presenting a wide variety of targets from the straight forward presentations to the more complex Chandelle, Battue, and Bunny Wrabbit. Utilizing 5 to 6 stands, each shooter steps inside a stand or box, and shoots two rounds at two different presentations; either on report or simultaneously.  Shooters take turns until they have exhausted all 25 rounds. Each shooter can either request a specific presentation or shoot a designed menu.

 - Member practice is Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and there is generally an ample supply of experienced shooters willing to help instruct new shooters. Cost for members is $4.00 per round of 25 targets.

 - Any questions or instruction requests should be sent to Wayne Ordway, 5-Stand Chairman at:  jeep1115@msn.com
