Rifle Shooters
All shooting must be done from established firing lines/stations. Use of more than one firing line on the range at any one time is prohibited. The range can be used from 9:00 a.m. to sunset, daily. It is the shooter’s responsibility to be aware of the daily sunset times in Rhode Island.

No shooter may discharge a firearm with another shooter (or any personnel) positioned to any degree downrange of his/her station. When shooters go downrange to setup, check or change targets or want to cease all fire, call a verbal “CEASE FIRE”, “MAKE THE LINE SAFE” and lower the “RANGE SAFE” signs. All shooters must make their firearms safe (actions open, chambers empty and magazines out). Firearms will not be handled while any personnel are downrange.

When all range users agree that active is allowable and safe; raise the “RANGE SAFE” and verbally and visually assure among all shooters that “THE LINE IS HOT” and that “THE LINE IS READY”.

Our range set is:

Rifle 300 yard range with 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yard target stands and berms.

On the 300 yard range, we have a life-size buffalo target and on the 200 range we have a life-size deer target. We also have a brass catcher for member's use. Please keep this on the Club Property.

The buffalo and the deer are both made with AR500 steel, so you should be able to use any caliber rifle on them with the exception of 50 Cal.
